Martha A. Roberts MSN, ACNP, PNP-AC/PC, CEN, CPEN

Martha A. Roberts, MSN, ACNP-BC, PNP-BC, RN, BSN, CEN, CPEN, is an adult and pediatric board certified nurse practitioner and the president of RCG. She has worked on numerous medical legal cases and chart reviews for both adult and pediatric patients. Martha possesses a strong educational foundation (Georgetown University, Catholic University, American University), combined with valuable clinical and bedside nursing skills. She graduated at the top of her class, summa cum laude. Her commitment to continuing education keeps her both engaged and current with the latest information, ensuring the best care for her patients.

Martha currently serves as an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner (ED NP) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG). She recently made the decision to step back from her full-time role as an assistant professor to focus on her clinical practice at ZSFG, as well as to work on editing the 8th edition of Roberts & Hedges: Clinical Procedures in Emergency Medicine and Acute Care (Elsevier). This highly respected and widely recognized text has been considered the leading educational text for emergency department clinical procedures for the past 40 years.

Previously, Martha was the lead pediatric course manager at Samuel Merritt School of Nursing, where she taught traditional RN and NP students, as well as second-degree nursing students. In this role, she led clinical groups through various departments, including the Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Med/Surg Pediatric floors.

Martha is a published author, writer, professor and medical legal expert. She teaches emergency medicine care to thousands of clinicians as a nationally recognized lead faculty member for the Center for Medical Education (CCME). Her podcast, "The Two View," has been downloaded by over 50,000 listeners. She is also an active member of the Board of Certified Emergency Nurses (BCEN), lecturing and assisting with board specialty examination review.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Martha worked at UC Davis in the Emergency Department and played an instrumental role in vaccinating over 5,000+ individuals for COVID-19 across the state of California in partnership with CVS.
